Through the outstanding efforts of our agronomy team, we are very fortunate to boast that our course is consistently in great shape no matter what time of year. 2013 is no different and as we head into summer our fairways have transitioned seemlessly back to the summer bermuda and the rough provides a great balance of challenge and aesthetic appeal. Our greens remain receptive and smooth and the aerfication that will be completed on August 6-7 will help to ensure that they remain as such during the summer. In the days immediately after the aerification work, the greens will still be very playable, however the greens will be sandy with aerfiication holes visible. The healing process is quick and we expect that within 10-14 days after aerification, players will notice little, if any, impairment to their putting as a result. In fact, you can expect this process to help your game as aerfication helps to make the greens more receptive to approach shots and keeps the putting surfaces smooth for truer rolling putts.
